Stage Challenge

 Yesterday morning, Monday 24th, at about 10a.m Rooms 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 from Melville intermediate went up to the high school to watch the stage challenge performance. When we were lining up it was freezing, it was like 1 degree.






The dance was about Rangi, the sky father and Papatuanuku, the land mother. It was based on their love and how they got split apart.

The high school and our school were combined together in the performance.  The students have been working hard on designing the performance since Term 1. They had to come up with the ideas, dance, music and costumes.

Their costumes were really cool I had never seen anything like it before.
The dances were amazing to watch they told us most of the story without even talking to us.

The props were creative and they almost looked like real ones.
Most of our class liked it. It was probably a new experience for most of us year 7s.

The music matched the dances in every way and they really looked like they were enjoying performing for us.

Over all it was a great performance and it was awesome to watch.
