It was the year 1900 it was an unfortunate year as the war took the lives of millions of men fighter jets armed with bombs that go kablooey accelerating at speeds that will leave you flabergassded. Boats with weapons of mass destruction destroying helpless scared countries. As I charge like a raging bull I fire my Uzi through the bodies of the revolting army named NEXUS. The sound of boats colliding together are like long sharp nails scratching on a chalk board. Missiles roaring a loud boom. To this very day solders haunt the scary boat

War in a boat

I always remember the story of my brother’s name.
My great grandfather was in World War 2,
And when the war was happening my great grandmother was
pregnant.
My great grandmother sent a to my great grandfather letter
asking what she would like the child to be named.
By the time he replied it was too late,
The name that was requested from my great grandfather was
Dion
Murry never named one of his sons Dion
But he got to name his first and only grandson
And he named him Dion
Remember....
Remember the day in 1914,
When the world turned dull and the nations turned mean.
Along those English troops sailed, so brave and so tall,
Clueless of their rivals that will soon make them fall.
It’s crazy to think how much had to go,
To the war that started 100 years ago.
Remember the day in 1915,
When the world stayed dull and the nations stayed mean.
It was the day New Zealand joined the war,
The Turks shot them dead, nowhere near Gallipoli’s core.
It’s crazy to think what we now know,
Happened so fast only 100 years ago.Friday, 31 October 2014
Broken
glass everywhere swimming
against the cat. The
cat didn't recognise that a piece of glass entered his throat. The cat coughed
and coughed until it flinged out. As the cat lifted the glass sitting on the ground, it was
full of emotion, it was sad. People kept walking past and stepping on it till
it broke to tiny little pieces. As the cat sat on the green glass it felt wet and sloppy, it felt
yucky and gross. The cat chased a rat, it scattered and scattered as it sped past
houses, gardens, trees, fences and a foot path.

The fresh green
ocean filled the scenery with its flow of the waves. The water sparkled like a
thousand jewels as suddenly, something has broken its surface. A ginger fur ball going down stream,
“Meow…”
“Here, kitty. Come out Tommy, Tom, Tom.” Ella cried in the
most reassuring voice, then she crouched down in pain. One, two, three tears
came rolling down her painful face. The little girl Ella, skipped along the
streets then lifted her
tiny sprit. “Oh hello Ella. You feeling alright? Swimming through some emotions aren’t you?” “Hi Mrs Smith,
have you seen my cat Tommy?" (Snivel.)
The broken heart of the young princess of Selmadore was once
lifted, she gazed out the window, a shiny green limo pulled up in front of the
castle door. A man got out to open the door, he seemed wet like he had just
been swimming, he carefully dragged a small box off the back seat in the car he
had a really tight grip on the box like it was his own child. I ran down stairs
and snatched the box off the man, I slid the lid off the top of the box, out
pounced a black cat.

Rude
Broken,
Fragile,
Nowhere to go.
Green
envy surrounds me,
Yet nobody knows.
Is it the way I act,
Is it the way I move,
Why do people have to be rude?
My cat
doesn’t care,
Her spirits still lifted,
She doesn’t envy the boy that’s gifted.
I’m swimming
through my thoughts those people intrude,
Why are these people now so rude?
Our society is corrupt,
No one stands tall,
The world is no longer one for all.
Social media attacks you,
Nasty words slap you,
Were humans made to be so rude?
Why is the modern world now so rude?

the hooded figure strikes
Slits, not eyes, glared through the shadows of the charcoal
cloak. Night fall had struck by the time FBI investigators reached the blood
stained mulch and leaves on the forest floor. I witnessed the whole thing, and
it wasn't death that murdered Jessica Jane, yet he morphed out of thin air as
soon as she was struck. Not to take her away, but to take her misty, milk white
soul from her punctured body. Its midnight, and the hooded figure is still here,
and out of curiosity, so am I. I just witnessed everything, that’s why death
now faces me.

THE FRIENDLY
CROCODILE
Once upon a
time there was a little girl called pepper. She was going to visit her secret
friend the crocodile she was going to feed him. When she arrived at the lake
she got a soft feeling. OH NOOOO she shouted I forgot to get the orange so she
rushed back home. After she got the orange she ran back to the lake and threw
the orange then the crocodile jumped up and caught it in his humongous mouth.
Good boy she replied I love you so much you’re the bestes FRIEND in the entire
world.

CRACK!
Suddenly a bolt of lightning appeared and disappeared within a blink of an eye,
but not just any human’s eye. They had the colour of an ignited orange flame appeared in the
darkness. The eyes beamed into the dark swamp. It was the crocodile that owned this
swamp, the crocodile that forgot
his name. A soft voice
appeared in the darkness. “I know your name crocodile”. Said the cute voice.
Ha, ha, “I know you do, you just said it”. Said crocodile. “Your real name not
your stupid animal name. It is Pepper”.
Said the voice. “Thankyou”.Said Pepper.

Croc the crocodile
was sitting on the soft
sand waiting for the beautiful sun to rise. As it was rising people started
turning up to the beach. So croc the crocodile went home. Croc forgot to close the door
behind him. When he went inside croc noticed a whole lot of bright orange fish rushing
through his door. They were knocking over everything they saw. Like the pepper and salt. He swam
as fast as he could to close the door he was so relieved. But there was pepper
and salt all over the place. Croc could not stop sneezing.

A Trip to the Swamp.
A trip to the most desolate swamp on earth was my school’s
idea, NOT mine. A swamp
filled with exotic animals would assure one less child on the ride back. Our
group shuffled with the host as we looked around, the humidity made me sleepy
and I forgot where the
group went. I had a small container of Pepper in case I had to defend myself. All of a sudden an object
that looked like a puddle of Fanta drifted towards me. I let my pepper go
before the soft orange crocodile bit me. It sneezed gross green snot everywhere.

Finally the announcement came. It has been 100 years since
the bridge has been bombed. Right now there is only half a bridge standing. a
part of the announcement was that they are going to build a bigger and better bridge.
They wanted some volunteers to help of course I volunteered we started straight
away there were so many cranes and trucks. after about a month it was nearly
finished but there was still a lot to go . Suddenly all you could hear was rumbling.
Out of the corner of my eye a whole lot of water smashed over the bridge.

‘Finally we
can make a start on moving things’ as I grinned to mum ‘I still don’t know why
we had to move houses again mum? I questioned but she didn't reply though. “Come
on Cameron help Caitlin move those boxes in to the van. “Uggh I wish we never
had to move I can already tell ill hate the new school I just know it” I groaned”.
“Can you stop complaining or I’ll tell mum” so I stopped. After hours of
unloading and loading the day was gone. After a replenishing long sleep it was
time to go to the new school time yay.

As we were setting up for prep. We had to help eachother get
there stalls ready. If we helped other stalls we got 50 misms each to add to
our budget. Chirah raced to ask how long we had left. She sprinted back with
only ten minutes to go. The chew chew chews rushed to get there product but
someone has moved them. We all ran around asking where the chilly bin has gone
the all said they don’t know where they went. All of a sudden out of the corner
of my eye I saw our red chilly bin finally we can make a start.

100 word Broden
As I walked into the grease like smelling park Jacob yelled “greasy
world” then his words echoed throughout the dead carnival, all in sight was old
rusty metal rides screeching and pulsing to explode, it was a large park filled
with was tents, games, and old rides, Jacob, Tui, and I walked over to the
merry go round clipping our self’s in we yell to the old man “wake up” the old
man dribbles on the keyboard , big electric sparks crackle all over the cylinder
board. Then a speaker slowly explains the instructions I yawned then said “and finally
we can start” The final end sea.

Dear world
leaders
Lucy is still young and can learn quickly about being a
teacher or a doctor and the understanding about it. I admire her support for
her family, and envy her for her confidence towards being a teacher or a doctor.
Lucy wish’s to learn to read. My concerns are for her disable’s which may affect
her doings .It’s a very difficult task which may need a lot of support for her
leg. It’ll be very difficult if Lucy’s education doesn't improve when she grows
older. I wish the best for Lucy to go to school.
Sincerely: Merry
Lucy!
Dear World Leaders,
This is Lucy. Lucy has a dream to become a Doctor or
Teacher. Lucy wants to go to school but she has no way of getting there because
she has a condition in her right leg so she cannot straighten her leg. Even
though, she cleans, cooks and takes care of her whole family and she is only 11
years old. This is not something a child this young should do which shows how
caring and responsible she is. You should send Lucy to school because the world
needs more people like her she deserves to go to follow her dreams!
You’re sincerely
Brodi

Dear world leaders
Lucy, from western Kenya, Desperately needs to go to school
to interact with people her own age and to get a good education. That is my
opinion. If you don’t agree with me because of her disability. Well these days’
schools and doctors provide immunisations. So if Lucy goes to school Lucy won’t
pass it on to any other student. So Lucy can learn new things and find new
friends. If Lucy’s family is unable to get her to school. Alot of schools now
have their own bus or other form of transportation. Please support Lucy’s
cause.
My letter to World Leaders
Dear World Leaders,
Lucy is a special kid, but just because her life is
different from ours doesn’t mean she needs to be treated a totally different
way to us. Lucy should be able to attend school regardless of her disabilities.
Donations would help Lucy lot, even a wheelchair would make her wish come true
of attending school. Lucy does a lot for her family and eventually her own community.
Maybe you should give her something back in return for the favours she does
with courtesy. Lucy is a very special girl.
Please send her to school.
Sincerely,
Joshua Hearn
