Inter Intermediate Netball

Netball tournament… J  

On Tuesday some girls that were in the netball team went to Tokoroa for the netball tournament. As the day started I woke up as early as I could and got ready, I got to school at 4 minutes to 7 and we left at 8:00. I was really excited because I couldn’t wait for the day to come and my heart was pounding like I was having a heart attack. The teams we played were Te awamutu, Fairfield,peachgrove and Cambridge, once we got to the court we all had to run around the courts and do some stretchers.  Our first game was against  peachgrove and it was alright, the game was  a little tiering  because everyone had been doing nothing and not getting in front of their players. I loved our second to last game because everyone was happy and having fun. I love going to tokoroa and I wish to go again next year.

Using Minecraft in Math - 2D to 3D shapes

Indoor netball

For our Monday Module, we did indoor netball. For our last session we went to the indoor netball place. 

There was only two courts inside with nets everywhere so there are no outs. In indoor netball there are two centers for each team, two attackers and two deffences.

On the court there is a line across the middle and a semi circile on each end. The centers can't go in the semi circle, the attackers and deffencies have to stay on there half of the court.

There are six players on each team and we had one sub. We had a blue team and a yellow team. 

The teams had a close game but yellow won every game, blue was really close but they kept stepping and trying to throw long passes.

Today we were using mine craft to learn about enlargement. We had to explore the world and answer the questions

The mist swirled in the dark air as the train entered the tunnel. The ceiling crumbled as the walls fell with slime. Bats flew and cockroach’s fled. It was the one place to tell the best of stories, NIGHTMARES! “The Story Of The Bloody Finger.”
The phone rang, a boy picked it up, a man answered faintly. "Hello, I’m the man with a bloody finger, I’m one house away from you". The boy panicked and hid under the pocked-size table. A knock echoed. The door creaked opened, "hello, I’m the man with a bloody finger can I use a plaster?"

As the train entered the tunnel it was very dark I could only see a speck of light at the end of the track. The train was going really fast and it got through the tunnel pretty quick, on my tourist map it said we were heading towards the abandon Rat tail Bridge it got its name because it is wide at one end and narrow at the other. Then I heard a noise, as I looked out the window and heard the train driver yelled we are falling the bridge has collapsed I tightened my hands and shut my eyes.
